The fieramilano exhibition district
Designed by Massimiliano Fuksas, it spreads over 20 large pavilions located on both sides of a 1-kilometre-long pedestrian street, Fiera Milano is one of the largest exhibitions district in the world. Strategically located the heart of Lombardy and in the centre of Europe, the venueis well-connected by road, underground and railway. The sail is the symbol of the exhibition district and connects pavillons, conference venues and meeting rooms. It is made of 40,000 pieces of glass and is 38,000 square metres wide.

Pavilions
20 pavilions (gross area of about 17,000 square metres). The single pavilion can be used independently. Each pavilion is vehicle-accessible to facilitate building and dismantling.
Areas
Close by the town of Milan with subway and railway station arriving directly in Fiera Milano. Access for public are: East Gate, near to underground station (M1 Red Line, Rho-fieramilano) and the railway station; Tim South Gate, the main entrance to the district; Tim West Gate, close by the multi-storey car parks.
